The first man to walk on the moon was Neil Armstrong. He achieved this historic feat on July 20, 1969, during NASA’s Apollo 11 mission. As he stepped onto the lunar surface, he famously said, “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.” Armstrong was followed by Buzz Aldrin, who also walked on the moon shortly after him. The mission marked a significant achievement in human space exploration.
