The smallest river in Himachal Pradesh is the Yamuna River in terms of its length within the state. Though the Yamuna is one of India’s major rivers, it only flows for a short distance through Himachal Pradesh, originating from the Yamunotri Glacier in the neighboring state of Uttarakhand. In Himachal Pradesh, its contribution is relatively limited compared to other rivers.

The Yamuna River is considered the smallest river in Himachal Pradesh in terms of length within the state. While the Yamuna is a major river in India, only a small portion of it flows through Himachal Pradesh, primarily along its southeastern boundary.
