The southernmost point of the Indian mainland is Kanyakumari (also known as Cape Comorin). It is located in the state of Tamil Nadu, where the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Bay of Bengal meet.
However, the southernmost point of the entire Indian territory is Indira Point, situated in the Nicobar Islands (part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands).
The southernmost tip of the Indian mainland is Kanyakumari, situated in Tamil Nadu, where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean converge.
If considering India’s entire territory, the southernmost point is Indira Point, located on the Great Nicobar Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
