The epic poem “Paradise Lost” was written by John Milton. First published in 1667, it is one of the greatest works of English literature. The poem tells the story of the biblical fall of man, focusing on the rebellion of Satan and his followers, the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, and themes of free will, temptation, and redemption.
