**Dadabhai Naoroji** is known as the **”Grand Old Man of India.”**
He was a prominent Indian nationalist, political leader, and economic thinker. He was the first Indian to be elected to the **British Parliament** in 1892 and played a key role in exposing British economic exploitation through his **Drain Theory**, which argued that Britain was draining India’s wealth. Naoroji was also a founding member of the **Indian National Congress (INC)** and served as its president three times. His work laid the foundation for India’s struggle for independence.
