The river known as the “Spate of Indian Desert” is the Luni River. It flows through the arid regions of Rajasthan, primarily through the Thar Desert, and is vital for irrigation in the region. Despite its short length, it plays a crucial role in the desert ecosystem.
The highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills is Doddabetta. It stands at an elevation of 2,637 meters (8,652 feet) above sea level and is located near Ooty in Tamil Nadu.
